Nowadays the epoxy floor paints have been widely usedin the floor construction of industrial plants, parking lots and largewarehouse, and mainly to achieve dust-proof, abrasion-resistant and anti-staticeffect, which is the most clients’ requirement and pursuits. Therefore, in thepast, the price of the epoxy floor was very high, and the business of epoxyfloors had been taken as the profit field. But with the wide spread of thisconstruction technique for the epoxy floors, now more and more people knows aboutthe technique. Because the technique is not very difficult to handle, nowadaysthere have appeared great number of floor construction business.

With the lower price, many customers then think thefloor paints are the same as the general board paints, which you only need tobush for several times after buying. Actually, they are wrong, because thegeneral paint is easy to peel off after you bush it in board for times. Andalthough the floor paint can be brushed directly in the board, the effect isbetter than the general paint, but if you do like that, it cannot take thepractical effect of epoxy floor paint. There are great differences between thefloor painted one without any treated process and the one bushed the epoxy oilafter polished and grinded, and the former has the effect of abrasionresistance as we imagine.

In fact, the best way to use the epoxy floor should beapplied for the general industrial floor construction technique, and this wayis the most economical and practical one. The general construction process isas the flowing(thickness:0.5mm-1mm):

1.   Thetreatment of base surface, polished the surface, clear off the dust andimpurities on the ground, keep the floor clean and smooth as possible.

2.   Brushthe base oil to improve the adhesive capacity of the middle coating and thebase.

3.   Scrapethe mortar coating, which acts as the main layer of anti-compression.

4.   Putty,to improve the adhesive ability of the middle coating and topcoat.

5.   Brushthe paint in topcoat, and polish it flat by rollers or blades or do someanti-slip process on the topcoat.
